Angela Essex joined the IMI team in early 2022. She brings to IMI more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit and service industry as an educator, director, and manager of operations. In past roles, Angela acquired a wealth of knowledge in continuous quality standards and accreditation practices, which will be a benefit in her position. Originally from Indiana, Angela graduated from Indiana University with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.

Angela enjoys working in the association management and non-profit industry. She says, “My favorite part of working in the AMC/nonprofit industry is connecting customers to resources that will enhance their lives personally or professionally.”

Angela has more than 20 houseplants, and she has named them all. She enjoys cooking and being outdoors – preferably at the beach!
