Melody joined IMI in late 2021 with more than two decades of experience managing communication programs for a not-for-profit organization, the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. While there, she developed and managed social media programs, email marketing, website updates and supported non-profit organizations holding their events in the region. An Albany, N.Y. native, Melody earned a BA in Communications from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh. Of working with associations and non-profits, Melody says “I’m learning that there is something different to do every day. I love how varied the work is.”

According to Melody, “I am a complete movie buff. Name a popular movie in the last 20 years, I’ve probably seen it.”
